Niagara Casinos announced the following on Tuesday:
Niagara Casinos is excited that with Monday's provincial announcement the Niagara Region is allowed to enter stage three on Friday, July 24. This is a great step forward as a province and region and we look forward to welcoming our guests and associates back soon.
As the province has announced, casinos are permitted to reopen in stage three, but with significant restrictions in place. We are currently reviewing the reopening requirements and how the capacity restrictions will impact the reopening of our casino properties. For this reason, Fallsview Casino Resort and Casino Niagara will not be reopening on Friday, July 24.
'We are excited that Niagara is able to take the step forward into stage three this Friday, and we continue to move closer to a day that we can reopen our doors to our guests and associates' said Richard Taylor, president of Niagara Casinos. 'Our teams have been working incredibly hard to get our properties ready to reopen and ‘Safe to Play.' We are reviewing the stage three restrictions and what they mean for our reopening plans. While we are not reopening this Friday, we look forward to welcoming back our guests soon.'
The health and safety of our guests and associates is of the highest priority. We are working collaboratively with the Canadian Gaming Association, Ontario Lottery and Gaming (OLG), the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO), Niagara Region Public Health and Emergency Services, Infectious Disease Prevention experts and members of our joint health and safety committee to implement all health and safety protocols for the protection of all staff and customers. Examples include:
Spanish 21 card counting. √ Physical distancing of at least two meters (achieved in part by admitting fewer customers);
√ The use of face coverings for customers and employees;
√ Ensuring the availability of alcohol-based hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes for customers;
√ Implementing (where effective and possible) physical barriers such as clear plastic partitions;
√ Enhanced cleaning and disinfection, particularly of high-touch surfaces, bathrooms and shared equipment;
√ Signage and communication to reinforce all health and safety protocols;
√ Employee health screening tools including temperature kiosks; and Fanduel nfl sportsbook.
√ COVID-19 health and safety training for all staff.

Overlooking Niagara Falls from a prominent site on Murray Hill, the $1-billion Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort features a 200,000-ft2 casino with more than 3,000 slot machines, 130 gaming tables, and a high-end gaming area, all on one of the world's largest gaming floors. The Fallsview complex also encompasses a 30-storey hotel tower with 368 rooms and suites; a 15,000-ft2 health and fitness spa; exhibition/meeting facilities including a 28,320-ft2 Grand Hall; a shopping galleria; 10 dining venues plus a food court; the 1,500-seat Avalon Ballroom Theatre; and a parking garage with space for 3,000 cars. While most of the resort translates the elegance of a bygone era into materials and structural systems that are clearly of our own time, the Fallsview also preserves part of the architectural heritage of Niagara Falls: the casino incorporates a portion of the 1904 façade of the electricity distributing facility that formerly occupied the site.
